Throwback Thursday: First Ever $100 Million Home
Just over three years ago, Russian investor Yuri Milner bought this French-style chateau for $100 million. At the time it was reported as being the most anyone has ever paid for a single family home in the United States! Situated in the spritely Silicon Valley, this lavish home has an indoor and outdoor pool, a tennis court, ballroom, and a wine cellar within its 18 acres of land. Basically, the sky was the limit.
More recently, Forbes released an article detailing the most expensive billionaire homes in the world in 2014 and, you guessed it, this Los Altos mansion made the cut. It’s sitting quite comfortably at number 16, just before Maison de L’Amitie in Palm Beach, Florida.
In a perfect world, what’s the most you’d be willing to spend on this luxurious home? We’d love to hear your thoughts!
Happy #throwbackthursday!
